SigMon 1000 Requirements
SAT can provide all these components, but if you already have this hardware, please feel free to use it with SigMon software:
- PC (laptop or desktop)
- Windows 2000 or Windows XP Professional
- 512 MB of RAM
- 5 GB of available disk space
- SigMon is blocked by the default settings of some firewall applications
- Microsoft Excel is required to access the reporting function
- Spectrum Analyzer
- All current Agilent models, including: ESA (440x), PSA (444x) and EMC (740x)
- Many of the older HP Spectrum Analyzers
- Several other brands of small and handheld PC-controllable analyzers – contact SAT for particular models.
- A connection between the PC and Spectrum Analyzer
- Typically Agilent and National Instruments GPIB-USB adaptors
- PCMCIA – GPIB adaptors also supported
- Antenna
- Appropriate for your frequency range of interest
- Low Noise Amplifier - Optional
- To see signals within 15 dB of the thermal noise floor, an LNA is typically employed.
