SAT Corporation: A brief history
The origins of SAT Corporation date back to 1983 when Mr Herb Pardula and his partner Mr Bill Klauer left Hewlett Packard and formed a company called Systems for Automatic Test in February 1983. Mr Pardula produced the first COTS automated spectrum measurement system for satellites. This system was called SATMON Communication System Monitor (CSM). The first customers for a SATMON system were JSAT and Intelsat. During the later part of the 1980s the CSM business became a dominant product line and Mr. Pardula formed SAT Corporation to concentrate entirely on Radio Frequency measurement systems. SAT Corporation was incorporated in February of 1990. The main product line was satellite CSM systems. Mr. Pardula built SAT Corporation to be the worlds preeminent COTS CSM provider.
Mr Pardula sold SAT Corporation to Integral Systems Incorporated (ISI) in August of 2000. ISI has continued to invest in SAT Corporation to insure that the company maintained its position as market leader in COTS CSM and terrestrial RF interference detection and direction finding systems.
Monics heritage is based upon SATMON and all of the experience and knowledge learned from working with satellite operators and users for over 20years.
SAT has remained the largest provider of COTS satellite CSM systems by continually improving the value proposition offered by products such as Monics, through incorporation of new technology, continual development and above all listening to our customers.
