SAT's Internal Research & Development

SAT Corporation has continued to invest in development and in the late 1990s started two new developments, one was the windows based CSM system, now known as Monics. The second was digital spectrum analysis for fast spectrum measurement and interference detection. Monics first shipped to customers in early 2001.

This research and engineering team continues to develop new capabilities to meet customer requirements. To ensure SAT is at the cutting edge of engineering advances, SAT's technical staff has a broad range of engineering knowledge. SAT's engineering staff have degrees in computer science or electrical engineering. SAT's knowledge comes from many years of supporting customers. Unique solutions for interference detection, determination of digital carrier Forward Error Correction (FEC) and database management are an example of how SAT's engineers has solved difficult problems.
